Lester William Polfus , conhecido no planeta musica como Less Paul, inventor de uma das guitarras mais faladas da história do instrumento, teve uma vida atormentada por acidentes e incidentes. Num deles capotou com seu carro em alta velocidade, quase se afastando definitivamente dos palcos. Mas voltava...ele sempre voltava. Os amigos diziam que ele tinha sete vidas. Les Paul surgiu no auge das danças de salão e as pessoas nem imaginavam o que poderia substituir as big bands com seus magníficos solos de sax. começou a se interessar por música aos oito anos.
